Trax Farm

Trax Farm’s 45th Annual Fall Festival is free for admission. You will enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch where you’ll have lots of pumpkins to choose from. In addition to pumpkin picking there are lots of other kid and family friendly activities such as bouncy house, corn maze, face painting, and a giant slide. Activities do require individual ticket purchase. There is a also a great assortment of food for all to enjoy. Fun can be had every weekend in October from 10am to 5pm.

Triple B Farm

Enjoy all day fun at Triple B’s Fall festival. Purchase an all day fun wristband that grants you access to a long list of activities such as: Big Blue Boo Barn, Rope Maze, large inflatables, corn maze and meeting the farm animals! Adults are $13, children are $8. Open every weekend in October from 10am to 6pm.

Simmon’s Farm

Simmon’s Farm’s Fall Fun is so great they offer it 7 days a week! This farm includes 5 acres of pumpkins to choose from! There is also two different size corn mazes, large slide, petting zoo, and rubber duck races. Prices for all Fall Fun Activities (includes hayride, but not pumpkin) $11.50 per person. For Fall Fun, Hayride and a pumpkin $14.50 per person.

Soergel’s Orchards

Every Saturday and Sunday in October, Soergel’s Orchards hosts their annual Fall Festival. Enjoy a hayride to their pumpkin patch. Additionally enjoy other fall fun such as horse drawn carriage rides, pony rides, corn maze, duck pond, and a wood carver. Take in such tasty treats at their Food Barn or Back 40 BBQ. And for adult fun havers- enjoy wine tasting with Arrowhead Wine or a growler of Arsenal Cider. Hours of operation for the fall festival are 11am to 5pm.

Harvest Valley Farms

Harvest Valley Farms consider fall a very important time of year! This full time produce form transforms into a family friendly fall festival of fun! Admission is free. Events available include: a hay maze, straw tunnel, hayrides, face painting and live music! Of course there is also a pumpkin patch where you can choose your own to take home! There are also craft and carving kits available.  Open every Saturday and Sunday in October 10am to 5pm.

Cheeseman’s Farms

Enjoy some fall fun on the farm located in Portersville PA. This farm offers a hayride to their pumpkin patch for $4 per person (children under 2 are free).  Spend the day enjoying some of their other fun fall activities such as the hay jump and petting zoo. Moms and Dads can also pick up their favorite holiday decorations. Every weekend in October from 11am to 5pm.

Kerber’s Dairy

Kerber’s Dairy hosts their annual Pumpkin days to the public on Saturdays and Sundays in October. Enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick your pumpkin. Kerber’s also has fun activities like tubing and a mini goal course. And one could not visit a Dairy farm without trying out Kerber’s Ice Cream.

Lonesome Valley Farms

This farm nestled next to the Westmoreland County Fair Grounds hosts their own Pumpkin Patch Playland for kids of all ages. Pumpkin Patch Playland operates every Saturday and Sunday in October from 2pm to 6pm. The $10 admission includes the corn maze, hay ride and all of the Playland fun! For adults and older children Lonesome Valley also hosts a large variety or scary and haunted attractions, but have no fear the Pumpkin Patch Playland is ghost and goblin free!

Schramm Farms and Orchards

Schramm’s Farm located in Jeannette PA hosts their annual fall festival every weekend in October. During the week you are also able to enjoy picking your own pumpkin, hay rides and the corn maze. You will easily find your family’s pumpkin in their large pumpkin patch! Additionally there is fun for the whole family with hay rides, corn mazes, pony rides and corn box. Also try some of their great food including homemade candy and caramel apples! During the week you are also able to enjoy picking your own pumpkin, hay rides and the corn maze. Patches to the West

Hozak’s Farm

Hozak Farm is located west of Pittsburgh in Clinton, Pa. Enjoy pumpkin picking during the week at Hozak’s from 2pm to 6pm. During the weekends enjoy Hozak’s Fall Festival which brings all the fun of the pumpkin patch along with face painting and scenic hayrides through the woods. Kids can enjoy pumpkin painting and hayrides as well. Admission to the farm is free.

Janoski’s Farm

Janoski’s Farm is also located in Clinton, Pa. Each year this farm creates fall fun in their Pumpkinland. Available each weekend in October admission is $6 per person. This admission brings a lot of things to enjoy including: a Haunted Barn, Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Straw Jump, Pedal Bike Path, Pony Rides (for Children Only) Donkey and Goat Viewing Area, Pumpkin Painting, Face Painting and much more. Janoski’s also encourages you to pack your lunch or enjoy treats from one of their food vendors. You can take your lunch break at one of their picnic tables or pavilions.

Bedner’s Farm and Greenhouse

Located southwest of Pittsburgh in McDonald Pa, Bedner’s Farm and Greenhouse offers up lots of fall pumpkin patch fun! Open weekends from 11am to 5pm. The cost for a hay ride to the pumpkin patch is $7 a person and then $5 to pick your own pumpkin. Other fun events include barrel train rides, slides, corn maze, zip line, and corn hole toss. There is also additional fun live events like a magic show and balloon animals.

Wooden Nickel Buffalo Farm

Not many can say they’ve picked their pumpkins while taking in the view of a buffalo farm! If you’re up for a little adventure (and a a little drive) consider Wooden Nickel for your pumpkin picking needs! Situated just outside of Erie Pa there is a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay maze and petting zoo to experience during your visit! Please check out their website for more information!

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum Pumpkin Trolley

A unique way to experience a pumpkin patch, hop aboard an autumn themed trolley to carry you to your pumpkin picking. A ride on the trolley and a pumpkin are included in children’s admission. The trolley ride takes you to the Trib Total Media Trolley display building where families can tour the large selection of trolleys. Also there kids will pick their pumpkin from the patch and carry it to the events room where they will be able to decorate it. Also included are kids activities and complimentary refreshments.
