Katie’s Clay Studio ART workshops offers a variety of creative and fun camps for ages 5 to 15. Clay camps and mixed media theme workshops offer a wide variety of projects in pottery wheel, clay sculpting, glass fusion, mosaics, canvas painting and tie dye. Campers will have a blast, leave with awesome projects, and receive lots of individual instruction in out limited size camps.

Our “Queens of Pop” spring break camp focuses on the three women who dominated the pop music scene over the last ten years–Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. Students can plan for a week of pop-themed fun and music centered around the success of these queens. The question is: Who is the ultimate Ruler of Pop?
During this week-long camp, students will perform music by these artists and study the various fusions and sub-genres these women used to make “hits” while also analyzing the intentions behind the songs. Beyond the music, students will also learn about the various techniques used by these women to promote their image, music, and role in society and pop-culture. In addition, students will create their own pseudo-pop identity and deem who is the ultimate “Ruler of Pop.”
