Recipe: Buhl Mansion’s (famous) Spiked Apple Cider

Normally I would use plain apple cider, but my grocery store didn't have any yet!

This recipe is one of my favorites! A couple years ago for my birthday, my husband surprised me with an overnight stay at Buhl Mansion in Sharon, PA. It is a beautiful mansion that was converted into a bed and breakfast/spa. The grounds are beautiful, and we completely enjoyed getting lost on the property. One of my favorite memories about it, besides the amazing room we stayed in (Tropical Nights), was their spiked apple cider.

After we had checked in and got settled, they offered a tea reception, and that is where I was able to try the apple cider. Of course, before we left, I had to ask for the recipe to be able to make it at home. I wrote to them recently because I had lost it! They also gave me permission to share it with all of you!

This recipe will make your house smell like fall. It was so easy to make, and great for entertaining! I love that you can make it in your slow cooker too, just throw all the ingredients in and then set it to warm, and you’re good to go.

Buhl Mansion’s Spiked Apple Cider

  • 1 cup vodka of your choice (They use Smirnoff)
  • 1 cup of Firewater Cinnamon Schnapps
  • 1 Gallon Apple Cider
  • Cinnamon Sticks

You can throw it on the stove to warm up, or put it in a crock-pot.

I told you it was an easy recipe! I currently have a batch in the slow cooker right now, and it’s making me so excited for fall! If I have any left over, I put it back in the gallon container. I think it tastes good cold too, but warm is best!

Thank you again to Buhl Mansion for allowing me to share this recipe!

Let me know in the comments if you make this and what you think!
