Give the Gift of Tickets: Citizens Bank Children’s Theater Series

For many of us parents, the end of August signals cooler temperatures and back-to-school. The new school year means new friends, new teachers, new opportunities. The onset of autumn also means a new routine and schedule for our kids; an opportunity to try new things and experience new places. Personally, I refer to the fall as birthday party season, as so many of these celebrations seem to be squeezed into Saturday afternoons in between soccer games and dance lessons.

As you are planning your fall and beyond, please consider a season of tickets to the 2017-2018 season of the Citizens Bank Children’s Theater series. Season tickets are available now, and at $42/person for 5 shows, they are truly a great value*. I’ve been taking my two children to these shows since they were both small enough to fit on my lap together to get a better view. They are so affordable for the giggles, smiles, and enjoyment that they bring. Tickets make great gift for your own children, grandchildren or anyone on your shopping list. And, season tickets make a perfect early holiday gift.

The Citizens Bank Children’s Theater Series presents award-winning, professional theater for young audiences ages 3 and up. Each performance runs about 60 minutes. With silly jokes, favorite story book characters, jaw-dropping acrobatics, whimsical creatures, and catchy songs, kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy this series full of fun for the entire family! It is easy for you to incorporate theater into your family’s schedule as most shows have performances Downtown and travel around the region for a performance in your neighborhood. The variety of performance times allow for naptime options and activity adjustments.

The lineup for the season includes adaptations from favorite children’s books, musicals, and circus-inspired performances.

Starting off the series in November 2017 is an acrobatic comedy, Trash Test Dummies. The actors in Trash Test Dummies are skilled circus performers that can trash talk with the best of them, showcasing a stunning array of jaw-dropping acrobatics, juggling and stunt work.
