An afternoon of learning, fun, and pampering! Moms will get to listen and ask questions of our expert panel, interact with local businesses and enter to win fun giveaways, have their photo taken by a professional photographer at our bump station with an adorable backdrop, enjoy personal pampering like a mini massage, food and demonstrations, and so much more! It’s your one-stop-shop for all things mom!

Dr. Brianne Kemp, Webster Certified Chiropractor
Dr. Brianne Kemp is a Webster certified chiropractor who is best known for her work with expectant mothers and young children. Her passion is to help women feel strong and vibrant while pregnant and to experience a positive birth for both mom and baby. She’s been helping families thrive with chiropractic care for over 10 years. Her patients fondly call her Dr. Brie. She graduated valedictorian of Palmer College of Chiropractic, is a Presidential Scholar, and is a member of the American Pregnancy Association. She has completed additional training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Brie is the author of the blog “Babes and Bellies”. She has been named Best Chiropractor, Reader’s Choice by Trib Total Media and was featured in the “Women in Business” section of Pittsburgh Magazine. Dr. Brie’s office, Live Well Chiropractic, is located in Wexford, PA., where she works with her husband Dr. Chad Stemmler. They have one child, Dane, and two bulldogs, Captain Pickles and Lady Penelope.
Sara DePierre, Lactation Consultant
Sara DePierre, PA-C is a board certified Physician’s Assistant; she attended Chatham University’s Masters of Science Program in 2010 and worked in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 5 years. In addition, Sara has completed the IBLCE’s Lactation Consultant program.
Sara is a Jefferson Hills native and is excited to be working in the community she knows and loves.
Deena Blumenfeld ERYT, RPYT, LCCE, FACCE
Deena Blumenfeld is the maven behind Shining Light Prenatal Education. She has been working with women since 2008 as a prenatal yoga instructor, doula, Lamaze certified childbirth educator and teacher of teachers. She specializes in women’s health for all phases of reproduction: fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and pelvic floor health. Bayh Sullivan, Director of Enrollment Management
Bayh Sullivan is the Director of Enrollment Management at The Ellis School, Pittsburgh’s only age 3 to grade 12 all-girls independent school. A graduate of The Ellis School herself, Bayh continued her all-girls education at Bryn Mawr College where she studied English, Spanish, and psychology. Upon graduation, Bayh began her career in admission at Bryn Mawr before entering the independent school world in fundraising at Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia. Subsequently, she joined a consulting firm in New York City and shaped admission, development, and marketing strategies for independent schools, colleges, universities, and nonprofits, before returning to her alma mater as the Director of Enrollment Management. As an alumna, Bayh understands the transformative nature of an all-girls education. She believes that students who attend Ellis benefit from an immersive, empowering environment that challenges each student to uncover her strengths, broaden her academic exposure, and cement her innate value.
Mary Yohannan, CTA, Owner
Mary Yohannan started Life is Better Traveling, LLC as a travel agency built on authenticity, love, and integrity. She built her business on her own personal travel experiences, having traveled to over 20 countries on 4 continents. Because of her knowledge and expertise, she has been able to plan hundreds of customized vacation experiences for honeymooners, single travelers, and families. Christine Rathway, Director of Community Outreach, TEIS, Inc.
Christine Rathway is currently the Director of Community Outreach at TEIS, Inc. where she has been working hard to reach as many people as possible in order to educate them on the importance of Early Intervention services. At TEIS, she works on the company’s mission, which is to empower all those whose lives they touch to reach their full potential. By reaching as many families as possible that are in need of early intervention services, she tries to empower the families with the resources they need in order to help their children 0-3 years of age.
Christine is very passionate about her work at TEIS. She enjoys reaching as many physicians, parents, and communities as possible within Allegheny and neighboring counties. Christine is very proud that due to the quality of treatment that TEIS provides, it has become the #1 parent requested provider for Early Intervention in Allegheny County. She shares the same vision and goals that TEIS encompasses which is to change the trajectory of children ages zero to three.
Christine was born in Pittsburgh and continued there through college where she attended Duquesne University and received her B.S. degree. Currently, she lives in the area with her husband and 3 children.
Diana Shane, RN, MS, CN
Ms. Shane is a certified nurse midwife who provides antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, breastfeeding support, first trimester ultrasound dating, well women screenings, family planning services, and gynecological and primary care for women of all ages. As a midwife, she practices holistic and personalized care for women, sharing her knowledge and using her skills to help women participate fully in their health care.
Paige Beauchemin, RN
Paige Beauchemin received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Chatham University and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Shadyside School of Nursing. She has a special interest in Women’s Health, with many years of experience working with mothers and babies during the perinatal period as a nurse, educator and mental health advocate.
