Fun for All at Washington Wild Things Game

Hitting it out of the park in more ways than one, the Washington Wild Things games are not to be beat! With great fun, great deals, and a great team there is so much to enjoy for all ages at the game. My family and I traveled down to the stadium in Washington, PA to take in an American past time over the Memorial Day weekend.

Buy me some peanuts, Cracker Jack, and hot dogs and I am a happy gal at a baseball game! At the Wild Things Ball Park, you are able to get an awesome assortment of food, beverages, and desserts. I have to recommend the cheeseburger and fries, very tasty!

Going on Sundays with the kids makes for even a better deal. Sign up for the kid’s membership card and kids eat free (hot dog, drink, and chips meal) as well as free admission to the game! It is fantastic and the kids love it. Speaking of food, halfway through the game there are delicious cookies and milk for a $1 a pair! All-American fun and food for sure!

Past the food there are awesome seats that are close to the field all around the field, you may even catch a foul ball! I’d know, one landed in the seat right behind me. Bring your mitt because I was not prepared… however I usually just duck and dive when it comes to foul balls. But the kids love the thrill and the chance to get an autograph at the end of the game! Then on Sundays, the kids can also run the bases on the field!

There are events to attend all throughout the week as well (as noted on their daily promotions page):

  • Tuesdays– First 500 fans receive Free Play to the Meadow’s Casino
  • Wednesdays– Dogs and Hot Dogs, bring your dog to the park and enjoy $1 hot dogs
  • Thursdays– Thirst-Tee Thursday with $1 Stoney’s pints and a free t-shirt
  • Fridays– Fireworks show following the game
  • Saturday– Souvenirs given to the first 1,000 fans
  • Sundays– Kids eat free with a kids membership card, free kids admission, run the bases, and autographs after the game

At the game, there are kids games behind the bleachers as well as a fun play area and playground. Kids enjoy meeting the mascot as he walks around the park too! During our game, they had a race between a kid, the Wild Things mascot, and a funny blow-up horse. Laughing and cheering could be heard all over the field with the kid winning the race!

Good wholesome family fun at the Washington Wild Things ballpark all summer long. Order individual and season tickets online and get to the game early to get your seat and some delicious snacks! We enjoyed a winning game on our visit and we know you will too with such a remarkable team!

Go Wild Things!!
