The Pittsburgh Mom Bloggers are a talented group of ladies, let me tell ya!! Not only are they amazing Mamas AND Writers but they also take some pretty incredible photos for their blog posts. We are so blessed to have such a talented group of writers and artists that we can call colleagues and FRIENDS!

Here are the top 8 photos from the past month, why we love them, and who contributed them.

Enjoy, share, and comment with your favorite of the Top 8 of January 2018!

We love this photo above because of the bold colors in the flag paired with the bold backlit sunshine! What a strong photo and it tugs at the patriotic heartstrings as well. Photo taken by contributor Jessie Lynn Wagner.

We love this photo above because of the beautiful composition and striking green water! The cloudy sky and possible storm on the horizon adds to the dramatic landscape photo. Photo taken by contributor Anny Bezilla.

We love this photo above because the wagon wheels provide an interesting foreground and the foggy/smoky trees are an intriguing background! The mysterious quality of the photo keeps us looking and wondering where it was taken and in what context. It also works to provide a moment of stillness if you look at the photo and take a deeeeeeeep breath!  Photo taken by contributor Deidre Conlon.

We love this photo above because of this little one’s face!!! Haha! Who hasn’t felt that same way in the chair! Hopefully all went smoothly after the photo was taken. Photo taken by contributor Amanda Piacquadio.

We love this photo above because of the gorgeous lighting! Check out all the detail on the dog and the beautiful eyes.  Photo taken by contributor Nicole Lynn.

We love this photo above because of the beautiful moment captured. The wonder of the little girl looking at the flower and the dramatic sunset light (or sunrise light??) keep us gazing at this warm photo . Photo taken by contributor  Michelle Walter.

We love this photo above because the dancing red balloons give us a sense of celebration and elation. The clouds and blue sky make the balloons pop out pleasantly.  Photo taken by contributor Maggie Poole.

We love this photo above because it screams HOLIDAYS! The flowers and twinkle lights make us all “oooh and ahhhh” and we wish we were sitting right there (kid-free) sipping a glass of bubbly. Photo taken by contributor Nicole Lynn.
