Fast Knock-Off Haluski
Serves 6
Sauteed Onion and Garlic, Cabbage and Carrots, Egg Noodles and Butter, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.

Ingredients
  1. 1 12oz. bag of Egg Noodles
  2. 1 bag of Pre-Cut Shredded Cabbage and Carrots (Coleslaw style) (in the salad section of your store)
  3. 1/2 cup Butter (half a stick)
  4. 1 Medium Onion, diced
  5. 2 TBSPs Minced Garlic (optional)
  6. Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Prep
  1. Cook entire bag of egg noodles according to box directions.
  2. Rinse with cold water, drain and set aside.
Cook
  1. Melt butter in a large pot on medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, coat with butter.
  3. Stir in cabbage, carrots and egg noodles.
  4. Stir well, coating all food with melted butter.
  5. Reduce heat, cover and allow to saute.
  6. When done, the cabbage will be transparent, and the noodles will be a yellow/golden brown.
Notes
  1. This is not authentic Haluski, but its a humble, and incredible simulation.
  2. Make it a MEAL by adding in ham, pork or kielbasa!
